Five star Meadowlake is set in a tranquil rural setting and has magnificent views of the farmland and wetlands of Burrill Lake.

There are three spacious and individually styled guest rooms. The décor of the rooms is understated elegance in muted tones and all rooms have original artwork from the owner's private collection. Rooms have ensuites with large bathtubs.

The sitting room is a pleasure to sit in for afternoon tea, drinks before dinner or to read a book and listen to music. The garden is an inspiration, the more so for being only 8 years in the making. All rooms have garden views. Bird watchers are sure of plenty to see, from superb wrens to wedge tailed eagles. So far 62 different bird species have been counted on the property.

Breakfast at Meadowlake is very special, with Peter and Di's wonderful cooking: Omelettes with herbs from the garden and jams made with fruit from the orchard. If you decide to eat the evening meal in at the Lodge, you will not be disappointed. Rack of lamb followed by lemon soufflé are just two of the dishes provided, but you must book in advance.
